The images for the show all stem from 6 historic Jacksonville images. I remade each image with people who are currently shaping the future of Jacksonville in a similar fashion to that the originally displayed people were doing. After the modernized version of the image was captured, a series of images ensued of “what would have happened after the original image was taken”, giving each character a life of their own.

American x Neptune

Contestants vied for the title of Miss American Beach in 1958 - portrayed by a group of sorority sisters in Neptune Beach (an area that black people were not allowed until the 60's / 70s)

Kona

The first female skateboarders at Kona Skatepark (world's oldest operating skate park), Peggy. Opened in 1977. Portrayed by Cassidy Ramos - who's a friend of Peggy's to date. Her family owns Kona and keep it running, including Cassidy's contributions of managing Kona, and teaching skate lessons.
